See below for additional information about what we offer in our Colorado Springs mental health center, which accepts walk-in appointments.

Psychiatric Assessment

A comprehensive mental health history and review of current symptoms with a diagnostic evaluation and discussion of treatment options.

Treatment Planning

Includes a cognitive-behavioral, psychoeducational intervention.

The Mentally STRONG Method

We offer our signature service as an online course and use it at our mental health center in Colorado Springs. Our program teaches you the process of how to empower yourself through your cognition (thinking) and behavior. The cognitive piece includes a thought map, which helps you identify and organize your thoughts, and a behavioral part which provides for learning to make choices that move you closer to your life goals.

Medication Management

As part of our adult mental health services, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners are licensed to prescribe all medication in the psychopharmacology class, including, but not limited to, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotics, mood stabilizers, ADHD treatments, medicines for insomnia, and more. Although we prescribe controlled substances, we are conservative in prescribing practices and ensure you are supported as you stabilize your new medication.

Genetic Testing

We offer genetic testing at our mental health center in Colorado Springs. This service is covered by some insurance plans and is a great starting point to determine how your body may process certain psychopharmacologic medications.

Long-Acting Injectables

Our nurse practitioners can prescribe and administer various long-acting injectables for specific diagnoses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar I, which can help relieve the stress of remembering to take a pill daily.

Cognitive Neurofeedback

Cognitive neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback tool to improve brain function and control brain activity through training, alleviating symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and more.

Special Needs Populations

We are sensitive to and understand the special needs of individuals in our community.

Veterans

We also accept military veterans with prior authorization or referral, click here to learn more about our Veterans Services.

Frequent Follow-Up Appointments
